No Turkey For This Stuffing
Stuffing...There are two kinds. If you are a turkey-day kind of person, then you are probably hung up on the bread-type stuffing. But me, although I like a nice bird, well I have an addiction to stuffing of another kind- the fluffy polyfil type. If it has stuffing, then I make it, pretty much. Some of my skills are a little more advanced than others- and I still haven't learned to knit (not sure I am going to actually). Crochet is my mainstay of toy making, but lately I have been getting very involved in the making of felt creatures and foods. I finished two tiny felt vampires for a swap on swap-bot last night and worked some more on my lobstah dinner. So far I have two potatoes and three clams. I have to get up my nerve to tackle the lobstah himself. I am also making a cool cat- which is what I should be doing now instead of starting a blog. :) I have to admit, the ami cat is a little more complex than I had planned- add in the fact that I am nearly out of gray and Houston we have the potential for a problem. That is part of the reason I have been avoiding finishing it. There is no where around here to buy yarn and although I ordered some, it is going to take a week or so to get here. And there is nothing to piss a person off more than getting mostly finished with a project and running out of materials. I am going to take some pictures of him in progress and some more when I am done to post. I would like to start keeping track of my work on here. So by tomorrow I should have pictures of the vampires (well one of them- the other is already in a box to send, the cool cat, and a wrap doll. And eventually my lobstah dinner and grocery set. Oh and forgive the lobstah thing. After hanging around lobster fishermen here it is impossible to think of them with an "r" at the end. :)
